The Associated Press has confirmed the inevitable, Joe Biden has defeated Donald Trump and has become the 46 President of the United States. Biden secured the most votes in any presidential election and has become the oldest elected commander in chief.
The margin of victory was not close, 290 electoral votes for Biden and 214 electoral votes for Donald Trump. Also making history is VP elect Kamala Harris who became the first woman in US history to become Vice President.
